The center consists of 12 collaborators
including 1 Doctor of Science (Dr.Sci.), 3 specialists with Ph.D, and 8 engineers.
The center participates
in the implementation of 2 projects of the Program of fundamental scientific
research of National academies of science for 2013-2020, 3 international
projects and 4 grants from RFBR. The Center has been accredited by the Federal
accreditation service of the Russian Federation as a testing laboratory (center).
Major trends of research:
-
analysis of environmental objects (surface, ground and
drinking water, soil, fauna and flora) for microelements (especially toxic ones),
mineral, organic and biogenic substances;
-
development of methods for sampling and analysis of
environmental objects (rapid tests, collection of representative samples,
methods of conservation and concentration, mathematical data processing);
-
study of transboundary transport of contaminants and
moisture with precipitation to the underlying-surface;
-
glaciochemical studies of the Altai mountain glaciers
for paleoclimate reconstruction and the evaluation of global, regional and
local transport and emission of pollutants in the Central Asian region;
- activities on the assessment of complex environmental situations in and beyond the Siberian region.
